Laney is a highly experienced Board Secretary and governance professional with over 15 years’ experience supporting Boards, Chairs, and senior executives across public, private, and health sector organisations.

Laney brings strong expertise in board and committee operations, governance compliance, and the preparation of high‑quality agendas, papers, and minutes that  decision‑making and accountability. She is recognised for her discretion, attention to detail, and ability to manage sensitive governance matters in complex and highly regulated environments.

In her professional role as Governing Board Coordinator with NSW Health’s Mid North Coast Local Health District, Laney provides end‑to‑end governance and secretariat support and ensures compliance with government policy and regulatory requirements. Her experience in health governance supports the Rural Health Research Foundation’s commitment to ethical oversight, transparency, and the advancement of research that improves health outcomes for rural and regional communities.
