Madeleine Lawler

Madeleine is the CEO of Regional Development Australia Mid North Coast, focused on improving the lives and services for the Mid North Coast of NSW, and regional Australians more broadly. She brings to the role experience in the National Health Workforce Taskforce, running a Headspace service, leadership roles in local government and her experience working multi-jurisdictionally across Australia’s policy and program landscape to deliver improvements.

Madeleine completed her master’s in public policy and management, her PhD in Social Policy and has experience in consulting in organisational improvement in the UK and Australia. She hopes to bring her experience to the Board of the Rural Health Research Foundation to assist in increasing the equity of transformational health research for rural and regional Australians.
